SISU X Money Ready

Financial Empowerment Workshop Series

Dates: September 18th, 25th | October 2nd, 9th, 23rd, 30th

Time: 3 - 5.30pm

Location: Mango Studio, 72 Berkeley Street, Glasgow, G3 7DS

Facilitated by Jen McLardy, SISU Facilitator, and Kav Gill, Money Ready Scotland Manager, this six-week workshop series was co-designed with the SISU Community to explore a range of financial topics and reflect on how women relate to money.

The sessions provided a feminist, compassionate and inclusive space for women to connect with themselves and others through discussion, self-expression, and mindful movement. To make the series even richer, Eilidh Lamb from Change Collective joined us for Week 4 and Week 6, offering unique holistic wellbeing experiences.

Themes for each week:

Week 1: Budgeting
Week 2: Accounts
Week 3: Saving & Investing
Week 4: Debt + Holistic Offering from Change Collective

Week 5: Money & Mental Health

Week 6: Series Celebration with Change Collective

“Connecting with other women makes me feel special - that we are a unique species & love unique experiences - honouring and giving space to that.”

“I’m more confident in my choice with [money], understanding more deeply my actions.”

“Shared experience, there doesn't feel like there's any shame or judgement happening in this room.”
